Gold Coast, Australia - A Queensland couple recently sentenced their 2010 Dodge Journey to death by tank after years of frustration. According to The Daily Mail, Dodge owners Joe and Kate Masters, with the help of a man called Ashton Wood who destroyed his 'lemon' Jeep two years ago, organised a 52-ton army tank to crush their Journey SUV, but not before the public got a chance to beat it up with sledgehammers.

"You might think we're a little nuts but this decision was not made lightly," Kate told The Daily Mail. The couple claims that Fiat Chrysler Australia refused to help them after string of problems that began just two years after buying the vehicle new.

The vehicle allegedly suffered from overheating and other "major mechanical issues" as well as problems with the battery, rear entertainment system and alarm. They also claimed that the windows would simply roll down when no one was in the vehicle.

The pair said they "pleaded" with the manufacturer for years, however Fiat Chrysler has denied the allegations against it, stating that the vehicle was serviced outside of its own dealer network, which reportedly never had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and verify the alleged faults.

Although it refused to submit to demands for a replacement vehicle, due to a lack of evidence and the fact that the vehicle had covered more than 100 000km, Fiat Chrysler also claims to have offered parts and labour for free even after the warranty had expired.

Regardless of where the guilt and innocence lies in this scenario, you must admit that it made for one heck of a video.
