Ken Olsen, a former policeman, found himself fighting for survival in a crazy road rage attack in which his car was repeatedly bashed and forced off the road just south of Brisbane in Australia.

The victim even went as far as driving on pedestrian paths and over traffic islands in a bid to get away. The enraged driver finally boxed him in before jumping out of his black Nissan Navara and smashing Olsen's windscreen with his bare hands.

Olsen luckily managed to escape before the perpetrator (more like psycho basket case) was able to do more harm.

Another bonus is that the incident was caught on camera and it made headline news that night. See the Today Tonight news broadcast below:

Although the media is reporting that the attacker has handed himself in to police, the motive is not known at this stage.

Olsen describes it as an "unprovoked attack" and has described the horror of his ordeal.

"He'd crashed into my vehicle so many times I was convinced it was going to stop going, and I thought once my vehicle is not going, I have no protection, this bloke is going to kill me," Olsen exclaimed.

"This has shaken me. It's something that you don't expect and it's something that's very difficult to deal with."
