Make the cost of doing business too high and the low volume manufacturers will go out of business. We'll all be robbed of that choice - remember the equivalent spec MercBMWAudi costs more than the Volvo's R440k Also there's no guarantee that a Merc won't give problems - read Noseweek. The consumer only really has the right to complain when the same fault recurs and is not rectified. All the same I'm not going to be replacing my Volvo with another one. I was shocked by the attitude of the dealer principal in Tygervalley when they supplied the wrong part....
