Now for something truly inspiring to kick off 2013.

Taylor Morris, a US Explosive Ordinance Disposal technician, lost four limbs in an incident in Afghanistan in May last year.

He is already learning to get around on prosthetics and even more amazingly, he was able to take advantage of the icy weather to pull off this snow drifting feat in an unmodified car.

The drifting weapon in this case is a Mazdaspeed6, a 204kW all-wheel drive previous-generation Mazda6 that's the equivalent of the MPS version that was sold elsewhere in the world.

Taylor jumped into the car with a bunch of friends and according to an account from his long-time girlfriend Danielle, it took a few practice runs to get things right, but in the end Taylor was able to do a lot more than he thought he would be able to.

The video is also an attempt to get the attention of Ken Block, as Taylor dreams of having a spin in the rally star's passenger seat. Let's hope his well-deserved wish comes true.
