Telford, Shropshire - Severn Valley Motorsport specialises in modifying Nissan GRT-Rs, but they're willing to try almost anything you're prepared to pay for.

This one, however, was all their own idea - simple in concept, but a lot more complex in execution - and it's still, to some degree, experimental, which is why it's not for sale, although, for the right price, they'll happily build you one like it. Or even wilder, if you have the apples for it.

Basically, it's a Nissan Navara one-ton bakkie with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo GT-R engine, six speed dual-clutch transmission and all- wheel drive running gear in place of the standard 2.3-litre turbodiesel.

The engine has, however, been tweaked at the SVM skunk works in rural Shropshire, boosting its standard 415kW to an eye-watering 588kW, with more to come - if fact, SVM's Luke Anthony says he could get 1100kW out of it, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual 'box. Now that's a scary thought.

And the right price? That's about £175 000 (R3.7 million) before taxes.
