Stetten, Germany - Imagine a Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder with its standard 448kW V10 tweaked to a mind-boggling 633kW and 960Nm. Imagine no more.
But we suspect that this latest offering is going to upset the purists; rather than installing discreet, non-invasive plug-and-play ECU upgrades or override modules, German tuning haus Novitec Torado has opted for the 'brute force' approach - by bolting a pair of superchargers.
Also part of the deal is a lightweight replacement exhaust system in your choice of stainless-steel or Inconel (a nickel alloy usually used for jet engines) with driver-operated free-flow valves that the maker describes as 'potent', lowered suspension, huge rims and carbon-fibre body kit. Discretion, you'll understand, is not in Novitec's corporate vocabulary.
Special sports springs lower the standard Huracán - which has ground clearance problems to start with - by a gutter-scraping 35mm - which Novitec tacitly acknowledges by promising that height-adjustable coilover dampers will soon be available for all Huracán models.
The Novitec 'blower' Huracán rolls on 20 inch front and 21 inch rear NL1 double five-spoked, forged-alloy rims shod with 245/30 and 325/25 Pirelli P Zero radials respectively.
Wind tunnel-honed aero kit
The aero kit, developed in a wind tunnel, is available either in body colour or clear laquer, and starts with a new front splitter, centre blade and front winglets that attach to the standard front bumper. There's also a special front bootlid, with air ducts that further reduce lift on the front axle.
The rear end is dominated by an oversize wing, over a special diffuser and custom rear moulding framing the Huracán's tail lights, while a custom carbon-fibre engine cover tidies up the engine bay.
And, of course, Novitec will tailor the interior trim to your request in fine leather and alcantara in practically any colour you can imagine.
