Stuttgart, Germany. Porsche is launching the new model year in exactly the right way – with an offer of more power for its signature 911. Now that’s the kind of optional extra we like.

Porsche Exclusive is offering a factory-fitted upgrade kit for all 911 S models that boosts peak power 22kW to 331kW. The kit includes bigger turbos and the Sports Chrono package with dynamic engines mountings, a modified brake cooling system and a sports exhaust system with two distinctive central tailpipes.

And if you already have a 911 with the Sport Chrono package, you’ll be able to order the kit as a retrofit option from June 2017.

There are new paint and trim colours available for most models, with a special four-coat metallic yellow reserved for the 911. The distinctive roof bar on the Targa models is also available in satin black on request, and there’s a special Design Edition 911 Targa 4S in blue with dark blue interior trim.

You can now order a Cayenne in metallic purple or ‘white gold’, or a Panamera in dark metallic red or brown, with two-tone leather trim in black and beige – or the more luxurious club leather trim in contrasting shades of brown. The two-tone black and beige trim is also available for the Macan.

Porsche now even more Connected

In 14 countries that support LTE cellphones (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States) Porsche Connect now comes with a built-in LTE SIM card, and a flat-rate data package for navigation and infotainment.

Connect Plus now comes as standard equipment in the 911 and Panamera and is an option for all other models. And if you have a Porsche (other than a Panamera) with Connect Plus built between September 2015 and June 2016, there’s a free upgrade for your software, that takes about 90 minutes to install.
