Thanks partly to the world's least secret agent, Aston Martin has become an automotive icon, with a Cool Quotient that's right off the scale.

And of all its current models, it's the Vantage that captures the imagination with its combination of outright muscle and driveability.

Coupe or Roadster, whether with the vocal 4.7-litre V8 or the sexy 6.0-litre V12, each Vantage qualifies as automotive royalty - and none more than the 101 examples (that's all that will ever be made) of the 2013 limited-edition V12 Vantage Roadster - just one of which was allocated to the South African Aston Martin distributors.

Daytona Group general manager Rens Rademeyer said: “Whenever there is a limited-edition model you always hope you get one with a really low number - and secretly dream of getting the first one off the line.”

“So you can imagine our excitement when we received our limited-edition model V12 Vantage Roadster and found it was No.1 of 101!”
