Aston Martin has issued a new batch of pictures and a driving video of its all-new Vanquish.
Taking its rightful place at the top of Aston Martin's model hierarchy, the Vanquish replaces the DBS, which it self replaced the original Vanquish.
Though hardly radical in its execution, the new sports car's shapely and arresting design takes Aston Martin's design language a step into the future, while also stealing a few design cues from the highly exclusive limited edition One-77.
So much more than just a pretty face, the Vanquish will tear up tar with a powerful version of the firm's 6-litre V12. The spec sheet says 421kW at 6750rpm and 620Nm at 5500rpm, which in street talk means a 0-100km/h sprint time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 294km/h.
The entire body is hewn from carbon fibre to keep weight down to a minimum, while torsional rigidity has been improved by 25 percent.
International sales are expected to commence towards the end of this year but if you want to see it in action right now, look no further than the video below.
