Gaydon, Warwickshire - Building on the kinship with Red Bull Racing created by their collaboration on the AM-RB 001 supercar project, Aston Martin has announced two limited-edition specials, the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions.

As the name implies, they’ve been created by in-house bespoke division Q by Aston Martin to appeal to Formula One enthusiasts, with the signatures of Red Bull Racing drivers Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen (your choice!) adorning the car’s sill and inspection plaques.

The two new models are mechanically standard, but they come with a range of other special features, including an exclusive blue paint finish that matches the Red Bull racing livery, with clear-coated carbon-fibre splitter, diffuser, side strakes and grille, highlighted by red infills on the carbon fibre grille and yellow brake callipers.

You can also ask for dark silver metallic or satin blue.

In addition to the autographed sill and inspection plates, there are Red Bull Racing logos embroidered on the head restraints, carbon fibre trim inlays in place of the usual wood veneer, and and a colour-coded leather-trimmed steering wheel with 12 o’clock accent stripe.

The V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions are available now to order from your Aston Martin dealer for delivery late in the second quarter of 2017. Prices will start from about R2.4 million for the V8 and R3.8 million for the V12, depending on your choice of options and the vagaries of our yo-yo currency at the time.
