A Rolls-Royce Phantom II cabriolet, built in 1930 by English coachbuilder HJ Mulliner, has been hauled several thousands of metres to the top of north-east Switzerland's tallest mountain to take part in an exhibition.
The 2.5-tonne car from a museum in Austria was hooked on to the Saentis aerial cableway for the journey to the summit near Appenzell at an altitude of 2502 metres.
Transporting the Rolls under a cable car took a whole day after the operation was postponed twice because of bad weather.
The luxury drophead will be on display until April 21.
The car has been in the collection of the Rolls-Royce Museum in Dornbirn, Austria, since 1982. - Sapa-dpa
