Calendar girls splash on JCB colour

In an imaginative use of its signature yellow, earthmoving machinery maker JCB presents a new twist on the world of the fashion shoot.

The 2013 JCB calendar features some of the UK's top models on a fashion shoot, with the JCB plant as the backdrop, contrasting the practical world of engineering with the artistic world of fashion.

The girls' 'dresses' were created through the study of fluid dynamics; the six images you see here took digital artist Stuart Reeves, art director Steve Brazier and fashion photographer George Bamford a year to create.

Bamford said: "I've always been fascinated by the possibilities of fluid on fashion, with the bright colours we take for granted on vehicles moulded to the human form - and the results are fantastic, with beautiful models wrapped sumptuously in swirls of rich yellow, displaying a dynamic female confidence in a factory setting."
