SA’s new vehicle market remained flat in March, with overall sales of 55 449 amounting to just nine more units than the same month last year. Yet within that overall picture, the month saw a 5.5 percent year-on-year rise in light commercial vehicle sales, while demand for passenger vehicles fell by three percent.
