Home Affairs Minister and incoming African Union commission chairwoman Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will attend the state funeral of Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, her department said on Friday.
She would fly to Addis Ababa to join President Jacob Zuma for the funeral on Sunday.
Zenawi, 57, died shortly before midnight in a Brussels hospital last Monday of an undisclosed illness.
He led a liberation movement and became president in 1991 after overthrowing a military junta. Since 1995, he served as prime minister of the east African nation. - Sapa
