Abidjan - Ivory Coast's President Laurent Gbagbo decreed a curfew from Saturday night to prevent unrest before and after Sunday's decisive presidential election, according to an official televised announcement.

“The president of the republic... decrees that a curfew is enforced across all national territory” each night from Saturday to Wednesday, said the announcement read out on state television. - Sapa-AFP
