Harare - More of Zimbabwe’s cabinet ministers are likely to lose their posts in the near future, ZBC television reported late on Tuesday.

“More ministers are expected to fall once their cases currently under investigation are finalised,” ZBC reported.

Vice-President Joice Mujuru, seven cabinet ministers and one deputy minister were sacked earlier in the day for allegedly plotting to oust President Robert Mugabe, 90.

They have denied the charges.

Two new vice-presidents are expected to be announced on Wednesday after a meeting of the Zanu-PF central committee, according to the report.
