Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned an attack on a US diplomatic compound in Libya which has left an American citizen dead.
Violence broke out during a protest about an amateur film made in America.
It's content is proving controversial because it has portrayed the Prophet Mohammad, which is forbidden in Islam.
The demonstrations are not just limited to Libya and are likely to spread to other countries.
