The late Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi
Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma will attend the funeral of Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, his office said on Friday.
Spokesman Mac Maharaj said Zuma would leave on Saturday to attend the service scheduled to take place on Sunday in Addis Ababa.
Home Affairs Minister and incoming African Union commission chairwoman Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma would also attend the funeral, her office said.
Zenawi, 57, died shortly before midnight in a Brussels hospital last Monday of an undisclosed illness.
He led a liberation movement and became president in 1991 after overthrowing a military junta.
