Pretoria - If you want trawl the internet to find out if Julius Malema is back from the political wilderness you might be in for a surprise.

Web surfers who look for the ANC Youth League at the www.ancyl.co.za address will be surprised when they end up at the DA Youth’s home page.

Photographer Ralph Higgo of Fish Hoek bought the domain address in 2010 and started to redirect web traffic to the DA’s www.dayouth.org.za website.

The correct address for the ANCYL is www.ancyl.org.za.

Asked why he had bought the domain name, Higgo said: “Why not? It was available for registration.” He said he was not a DA member but shared some of its views.

His view of the ANCYL is that it “needs better leadership”.

Twitter has been buzzing with people tweeting about being directed to the DA’s website.
