Munich - When a drunken Munich man realised he had no money for his taxi fare home, he opted for the only other tradeable item he had to offer.
Unfortunately for him, that happened to be marijuana. Even worse, the driver was not buying.
Instead, the man was arrested after the driver alerted police, according to officials on Sunday.
Police searched the 30-year-old man's home and noted a strong smell of marijuana.
They discovered 31 marijuana plants, about 350g of marijuana buds and some hash oil.
The man, who was eventually released, claimed the items in his flat were for personal use only. - Sapa-dpa
