A Cape Town accountant has set up a company offering naked and semi-naked services, according to a report on Friday.

The company, which markets itself through a website, was started last month by out-of-work accountant Paul Reid, 29, The Times newspaper reported.

After having to sell off virtually all of his belongings, including his clothes, to make ends meet, Reid came up with idea of offering services performed by naked or semi-naked household cleaners, cooks, handymen, computer nerds and accountants.

“It is not sexual; it is purely for entertainment purposes and obviously for the service,” Reid told the daily newspaper.

“There is a third year law student who offers light legal advice and an accountant who could help you with your taxes.”

He said most of the company's clients were men who preferred the cleaning services.

Two hours would cost R700, of which Reid took R150 and the worker R550.

He said he had 25 men and women on his payroll, some of whom work part-time and others who were also previously unemployed.

There were strict rules for staff and employees and it at the discretion of the client whether the jobs were performed semi-naked or naked, said Reid. - Sapa
