San Juan, Puerto Rico - Authorities in Puerto Rico say a patient stole an ambulance while being transported to the hospital for psychiatric care and crashed into 15 cars during the incident.
Police said on Monday that Jaime Rodriguez Figueroa was arrested after he hit two paramedics and took over the ambulance while accompanied by his mother and aunt.
Police said Rodriguez caused a huge traffic jam in one of the island's main highways after crashing into multiple cars. No one was injured.
The incident occurred late Sunday in the southern coastal town of Guayama.
