Durban - A man was killed and another critically injured early on Sunday after a shooting outside a nightclub in Pietermaritzburg.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by staff of a clinic situated opposite the nightclub in Imbali.
Spokesman, Russel Meiring, said clinic staff were treating the men when paramedics arrived.
One had succumbed to several bullet wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
The second, who had suffered numerous bullet wounds and was in a critical condition, was taken to hospital.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane, said the incident took place at about 2.15am. No arrest have been made.
