Rustenburg - Twenty people arrested following a violent service delivery protest in Brandfort have been released on bail, Free State police said on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Ian Gaobepe said the group appeared in the Brandfort Magistrate’s Court and were granted bail of R500 each.

The case was postponed to February 3.

They were arrested on Monday, after they blockaded the R30 road with rocks, buckets of faeces, and burning objects.
