The bodies of three men were found lying in a field next to a school in Delft on the outskirts of Cape Town on Saturday, Western Cape police said.

The men were lying 20 meters apart near the Voorbrug High School, Captain Frederick van Wyk said.

All three, in their mid twenties, suffered gunshot wounds to the head and back.

The men were believed to be from the Wes Bank area.

Police were investigating the murders which might be drug or gang-related, Van Wyk said. - Sapa
