Pretoria - A woman accused of kidnapping and killing a Pretoria police officer will appear in the city's Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old was to have appeared on Tuesday, but the matter was postponed until Wednesday, said Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini. The reason was not known.

The woman was arrested in Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal, on Monday morning.

Major Abram Tselana, 45, was last seen when he went to withdraw R23 000 from a bank in central Pretoria on December 31.

A woman approached him and they drove off in a red Volkswagen Jetta. His body was found four days later near Paul Kruger Street, in Pretoria. He had an open wound to his head.

Two other people, including the vehicle's owner, were also arrested.

Bheki Mhlongo and Zukisa Mablayi appeared in the same court on Monday when the case against them was postponed to February 1. They remained in custody. - Sapa
