A 26-year-old man was denied bail by the Middelburg Magistrate's Court on Monday after he was allegedly found in possession of drugs, the police said.

Keagan Dexter Murphy was pulled over by police after a tip-off.

His vehicle was then taken to the Middelburg police station where drugs, believed to be crystal meth and worth millions, were allegedly found in a welded compartment under the car.

The matter was postponed to June 13. - Sapa
