Bail for alleged dagga dealer

Durban - A woman accused of dealing in dagga with an estimated street value of R50 000 was granted bail in the Durban Magistrate's Court, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Thursday.

Captain Thulani Zwane said Thandiwe Pamela Ngcemu, 31, was granted R2 000 bail on Wednesday.

She was arrested on Tuesday, together with two other women after police found 50kg of dagga at a house in Umbilo, Durban.

“The arrested suspects appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court yesterday (Wednesday) where Thandiwe Pamela Ngcemu, 31, admitted that the dagga was hers and the other two were released by court,” Zwane said.

Her case was postponed to August 15.
