Uitenhage – Eastern Cape police were on Monday calling for assistance in finding out what happened to two people who were found stabbed to death in bushes next to the R334 road near Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage.
Officers were called to the scene on Sunday night where they found the bodies of a man and a woman, both with stab wounds.
“A passerby found the bodies and alerted the SAPS,” police spokesman Basil Seekoei said, adding that the circumstances surrounding the incident were still unclear and being investigated.
Seekoei said members of the public with information on the deaths should call crime stop on 08600 10111 or crime line on 32211.
