Butterworth - Hunters found a decomposing body in the Tholeni River, Manqulo village, near Butterworth on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.

It was believed to be a man's body, Captain Jackson Manatha said.

“The deceased was wearing a red top with the wording Uzzi, grey trousers and grey takkies,” he said in a statement.

Kei Bridge police appealed to anyone who had recently lost a relative to contact them to identify the body. A post mortem would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
