Johannesburg - A man will appear in the Bredasdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday in connection with the rape, mutilation and killing of Anene Booysen.

The 17-year-old was found at a construction site on the morning of February 2 and died in hospital that night.

She was buried on Saturday after a funeral which was attended by hundreds of mourners in the south-western town of Bredasdorp in the Western Cape.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the attack on Booysen.

The two others are due to appear in court on Tuesday.

It is alleged that Booysen identified one of her killers shortly before she died. - Sapa
