Pretoria - An armed man made off with an undisclosed amount of money after shooting two delivery men in Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria, on Tuesday, Gauteng police said.

Constable Tumisang Moloto said the two had delivered bread at a spaza shop in Mshongoville when they were robbed.

He said the gunman fired shots at them through the driver's door.

“Two bullets hit the driver in the buttocks and one of the bullets ricocheted and hit the passenger in his left leg. An undisclosed amount was taken.”

The gunman fled the scene. The wounded men were taken to hospital.
