Durban - A vagrant was shot after he allegedly tried to attack a businessman with a brick.
Blue Security managing director Henk van Bemmelen said the vagrant, who had been sleeping outside a Che Guevara Road (Moore) business, allegedly threatened the owner when he arrived to open his shop.
Van Bemmelen said: “When the owner asked him to move away, the vagrant allegedly picked up a brick to attack him. He then fired a shot that grazed the vagrant’s leg.”
Captain Thulani Zwane said police were investigating a case of attempted murder for the shooting.
