A police officer was stabbed to death near the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport on Monday morning, police said.
Two men attacked the 30-year-old constable while he was on his way to his rented apartment around 12.30am, Colonel Leonard Hlathi said.
“He fell on the street and was discovered by people staying in houses near where he was stabbed and summoned the police.”
Witnesses said they saw two men running from the scene.
