Johannesburg - The police have finalised their investigation into the accident involving President Jacob Zuma’s son and have handed the docket to the deputy director of public prosecutions.

The deputy director of public prosecutions will make a decision on how to proceed with the matter involving Duduzane Zuma.

“All statements have been taken and we are awaiting feedback,” deputy Gauteng commissioner Major-General Tebello Mosikili said onday.

She could not say how long this would take.

The accident occurred on the M1 South near Grayston Drive in Sandton earlier this month.

Duduzane was driving a Porsche 911 when he hit a minibus taxi in heavy rain.

A taxi passenger died and two others were injured in the incident.

A case of culpable homicide was opened.
