Johannesburg - Two tactical response team members accused of assault have appeared in the Protea Magistrate's Court in Soweto, the Independent Police Investigative Directorate said on Wednesday.

Spokesman Moses Dlamini said Constables Nobela and Hlongwane were released on a warning and would be back in court on January 28.

They allegedly assaulted a fellow police officer. - Sapa
