Parys - Two police officers accused of kidnapping and robbery appeared in the Parys Magistrate's Court on Friday, Free State police said.
The matter was postponed to January 24 to allow them to get a lawyer, said Captain Stephen Thakeng.
They remained in custody.
The two members of the tactical response team were arrested by the Hawks in Lenasia in Gauteng on Thursday while on duty.
They allegedly robbed a businessman of R90 000 in December after he had collected it from another business, said Thakeng.
