Johannesburg - Police have arrested two men believed to be behind a number of crimes in Johannesburg, police said on Wednesday.
Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini said they were taken into custody in Alexandra after being found in possession of a hijacked vehicle and a 9mm pistol.
“We believe we have made a major breakthrough to solve several violent crimes, because we have already linked the two suspects to eight criminal cases including hijacking, house robbery, and house breaking.”
The men are due to appear in the Alexandra Magistrate's Court on Thursday. - Sapa
