North West police on Thursday called on members of the public to come forward with information about the murder of a woman and her 12-year-old son in Tigane last month.

“The police are asking the community to assist them with any information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators,” said North West police spokesman, Sergeant Philani Nkwalase.

Dipuo Kolobe, 55, was found dead along with her 12-year-old son, Lebogang Kolobe, inside their house on May 29. Their throats had been slit.

No arrests had been made.
