Johannesburg - More than 300 days on, Senzo Meyiwa’s killer(s) is still unknown.

The police are still tight-lipped about developments in their investigation into the murder of the Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates skipper.

Meyiwa was shot and killed at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s house in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, in what is widely believed to have been a hit, on October 26.

It seems the police are so serious about keeping things to themselves they have even stopped updating Senzo’s father, Sam Meyiwa, who they had accused of interfering with their probe by sharing the info with the media.

“They say that every time I open my mouth, I interfere with the case, so I won’t say anything any more,” Meyiwa is reported as saying.

National police spokesman Lieutenant-General Solomon Makgale insisted the investigators were making progress in the case and dismissed claims that they had hit a dead end.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrator(s) can contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or SMS Crime Line at 32211. There is a R250 000 reward.
