Two Eastern Cape youths have been arrested for killing a teacher in Nkanini outside Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said.

Johannesburg -

A couple was arrested after a variety of drugs were recovered at their Katlehong home on Wednesday, Ekurhuleni metro police said.

Sixty-nine packets of a drug called Taiwan, 25 packets of cocaine, and a packet of dagga, all with an estimated street value of R6 000, were found during the raid, spokesman Inspector Kobeli Mokheseng said.

“Police were following a tip-off when they raided the couple's house and a backyard shack at Marutle Street.”

A 36-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested.

They were expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court soon on charges of possession of illegal substances and dealing in drugs. - Sapa
