Hazyview, Mpumalanga -

A Mbombela municipal worker and a woman were found dead in bushes near Hazyview, Mpumalanga police said on Friday.

Both had bullet wounds in their necks, Colonel Leonard Hlathi said.

Thomas Mabhena, 48, a driver in the municipality, and Martha Mashele, 32, were found in a municipal vehicle on Thursday.

“Police... were on patrol when they noticed a white Ford Bantam belonging to the Mbombela municipality in the bushes around Hazyview.”

They were found dead in the car. Two murder cases were opened. - Sapa
