Musina - A Limpopo man appeared in the Musina Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for attempted murder after he allegedly forced his son's head into a pot of boiling water, police said.
Ndou was expected back in court on March 26 for his formal bail application, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.
Naledzani Ndou, 23, from Matswale village in Musina, allegedly forced his five-year-old son's head into the pot, leaving the boy with severe injuries to his face.
“This is after the father accused his son of stealing mopani worms he had been cooking,” Hangwani said.
