Durban - A woman was arrested at King Shaka International Airport for allegedly being in possession of cocaine with a street value of more than R540 000, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Monday.
The 53-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday, Captain Thulani Zwane said.
Police received information that a passenger from Dubai had drugs. When the woman was searched, police found cocaine wrapped in foil and strapped to her body. The cocaine weighed 1.16kg.
