E.Cape man held for murder of four

Johannesburg – A man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly killing four people by shooting them in Manyosini, Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said.

The man, 25, shot dead three people in November. The fourth one was killed on Sunday, Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said.

“He was also wanted for armed robbery and we might link him to stock theft in this area, he shot dead the last person on Sunday. Our investigations led to his arrest this (Tuesday) afternoon,” said Fatyela.

He was found in possession of two 9mm pistols and ammunition.

He would appear in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Thursday on charges of armed robbery, four counts of murder, possession of illegal firearm and ammunition. – Sapa
