Pretoria - A department of higher education official was arrested in Pretoria for allegedly soliciting a bribe from a potential service provider on Wednesday, the Hawks said.
The 42-year-old human resource development practitioner was arrested in Orchards, while collecting R10,000 of the R90,000 he had demanded, said Captain Paul Ramaloko.
The potential service provider was offering training for the department in Rustenburg.
