A man convicted of murdering his fiancee was sentenced to 15 years in jail by the Hankey Magistrate's Court on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.
In 2009, Mluleki Moss, 53, beat the woman to death with crutches and a broomstick at his home in Hankey, near Humansdorp, said Lt-Col Priscilla Naidu. He then covered her body with a blanket and left it on his bed.
“After some time, her family noticed an unusual amount of flies on his bedroom window and when they went to investigate, they saw her decomposed body through the window,” said Naidu. -Sapa
