A North West man has been arrested for allegedly killing another man in Ventersdorp, police said on Monday.

Captain Amanda Funani said the man, 40, was arrested on Sunday after he had an argument with Buti Mojafi, 38, over a beer.

“The suspect took a stick and allegedly assaulted the victim with it.”

Paramedics were called as the victim was bleeding profusely. He died shortly after their arrival. The alleged killer would appear in the Ventersdorp Magistrate's Court soon. – Sapa
