Eastern Cape - Five men were arrested in Mdantsane on Wednesday morning when drugs with a street value of around R103 000 were found in their possession, Eastern Cape police said.
Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku said police went to a house in the area after a tip-off, and found 1700 Mandrax tablets, six packets of dagga, a 9mm pistol and cash.
Mzuku said the men, aged between 25 and 40, would appear in the Mdantsane Magistrate's Court on Thursday on charges of possession of drugs and an unlicensed firearm. - Sapa
