Johanensburg - A foetus was found in sewage on the N12 near Christiana, North West police said on Friday.

Captain Pelonomi Makau said municipal workers found the decomposed foetus which was about six months old while they were cleaning away sewage on Thursday. Police were called to the scene.

“No arrests have been made and a case of concealment of death is being investigated,” Makau said.
